Lot 600 Browning Superposed 'Superlight' 20 Ga #59282V70

Belgium made over and under box-lock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 20 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1970, and imported by Browning Arms Company out of St. Louis, MO., and Montreal P.Q. Featuring blued finish, 26 1/2" vent ribbed barrels, fixed chokes marked for Mod / Imp Cyl and measure Imp Cyl / Cyl with a drop-in gauge, ejectors, steel bead front sight, steel mid-bead, single smooth curved inertia trigger, tang mounted serrated sliding barrel selector and safety, and a checkered top lever. The receiver, top lever, and trigger guard display limited coverage floral engravings and edge designs. High gloss walnut furniture consists of a straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, long lower tang, sliding checkered forend with deeley latch release, 14-1/4" length-of-pull, 1-3/8" drop at comb, 1-7/8" drop at heel, and a Pachmayr black ventilated rubber recoil pad. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with only superficial scratches and a small amount of light rust on the receiver. Furniture is very good with light scattered dings, mostly on the forend. Bores are excellent and bright, and the action is smooth with the top lever standing far right of center.
